Lazy Photo Post

Even though my art skills...are not, I'm rather pleased with this St. Philomena design I've been working on for ages.

  1. after careful review of this art I make the following observations, this appears to be a compass designed with maritime attributes and estimating the compass is displaying a magnetic declination of negative 28°west it seems reasonable to conclude that said reading was taken on the north western side of Greenland, but then I read that it is regarding st. Philomena who if I remember correctly (with a refresher from Wikipedia) was centered around Rome, and that makes me ask should it not be displaying a positive magnetic declination of 2° east? but it is not as simple as that, because magnetic north is constantly rotating around the north pole the declination will change slightly over time but only a few degrees from Romes perspective. I don't say this to take away anything from your art but instead because I believe no good blog post should go commented :)
